Tuesday I went to my endocronologist in Atlanta. As I was driving home I had many thoughts. My story and thoughts are this:
In college and after college I was constantly gaining weight regardless of what fad diet I was trying. I did weight watchers, quick weight loss and others to try and get my weight off. In 2002, I went to a wonderful endocronologist in Atlanta who determined I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and with that came insulin resistance (which is like pre-diabetic). At this point I was at my all time high of 170 pounds. I was depressed and miserable with myself despite the fact I had dieted and worked out regularly. He put me on several prescriptions to help with my PCOS and insulin and I managed to lose some weight. He also told me I needed to follow the Sugar Busters Diet as a lifestyle change or I would become diabetic later in life. So I bought the book and pocket guide for eating out and shopping.
In 2005, I was at 122 pounds and that is my wedding weight. At this point my doctor told me if I lost anymore weight he would take me off my Glucophage. Now three kids later, I want to get off my prescription meds. He told me Tuesday I need to get down to about 125-130 and then I could stop taking them.
How does AdvoCare fit in this picture? Well in January I started the 24 Day Trim Plus Challenge. I lost 5 pounds on the cleanse phase and about 6 inches. I followed the plan and had great results. Then I continued on products but haven't controlled what I am eating. Supplements and eating healthy go hand in hand. You can take a ton of supplements and prescription meds but what plays the biggest role is what you eat.
My favorite AdvoCare products are Spark (energy type drink), Catalyst, meal replacement shakes for breakfast, Leptilean, and MNS MAX 3 (daily nutrition in a box). I intend to continue using my AdvoCare products while changing my eating habits to go along with the Sugar Busters Diet for maximum results!
As I drove home, I thought it would be neat to create a group who wanted to do Sugar Busters together and add in AdvoCare products to enhance results and wellness. I have sent out numerous emails and talked to friends and we have a small group interested. Now we have a Facebook page called Sugar Busters Divas. You should check it out and let me know if you want to join the group.
Now here is the best part. I was born an teacher and love teaching. I was an elementary school teacher for almost 9 years before children and VERY PASSIONATE about it. As a teacher there was always a student who was determined to succeed but struggled with a concept. I would work so hard to help that student master the concept before the end of the year. It could be frustrating but when the light came on, it was SO worth it! I thrived on this and that's why I love teaching. As an AdvoCare distributor, I get to teach and help people achieve their goals- whatever they may be and follow their journey and guide them along the way. So I get to stay home with my children and still teach! Isn't that AWESOME!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!
I hope people will learn to eat healthier and fall in love with AdvoCare products and/or the business like I have while changing their eating habits to become healthy and fit.

Testimony from MS (my sponsor)

I just wanted to tell you that AdvoCare does an awesome job about getting your orders shipped to you immediately. I have found that if you order before 2 pm (ET) that your order should arrive in 2 days! That is like getting your products and choosing two day shipping at a reasonable rate. Welcome
This is a blog to tell you about my journey with Advocare. I am often asked what is my purpose for being involved with AdvoCare. I have thought about it and my AdvoCare journey goes like this.
I am a stay at home mother of 3 children under 3. And yes you read that correctly! I have a son and then identical twin daughters and there is 22 months between them. So you can imagine my hectic daily life and I get told daily, "Bless your heart" and "I don't know how you do it!" My first response is how do I not do it? This leads me into how I started taking AdvoCare products.
I was home one afternoon with all three kids and extremely tired. I wanted to lay down in the floor and take a nap. I knew this wasn't a possibility so I decided to try out the Spark my sponsor (my sister and brother-in-law) had given me. I drank it and was skeptical about how it could give me energy. Almost immediatley I felt like I could get up and play with my kids and complete a few household chores. So from that point on, I was hooked on Spark and knew it would make a difference in my daily life which would make a difference in my children's lives.
So as my birthday rolled around, my sister asked what I wanted and I told her a bottle of Catalyst. So they gave me a bottle of Catalyst and I added that to my daily routine. I was happy with those results.
So I decided to sign up as a distributor to get my products at a discounted rate. Then I started thinking about how nice it would be to add a little income sharing something I loved with people. My purpose with AdvoCare is to help others achieve their goals!
